Plum Tack Terms of Service

At Plum Tack, we value our customers and want to make your shopping experience as smooth and enjoyable as possible. These terms and conditions outline the use of our website and the purchase of products through it. By using our site, you’re agreeing to the following terms.

We may update these terms from time to time, so be sure to check back if needed.


Products & Availability

We do our best to ensure all information on our site is accurate, but we're only human—so occasionally, typos or small errors may slip through.

  • Product Images & Descriptions – Photos are for illustration purposes only. Actual sizes, dimensions, and colours may vary slightly due to screen settings, lighting, and other factors.
  • Measurements & Sizing – We provide measurements where possible, but it's your responsibility to check the size chart and product descriptions to ensure the item is right for you before ordering.
  • Stock Availability – We aim to keep our inventory as accurate as possible, but occasionally, we may have inventory discrepancies. If an item you’ve ordered is unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel the order and will contact you to discuss alternatives if needed.

Privacy Policy

We keep things simple: your information stays private.

  • We never share your details with third parties unless required by law.
  • If you receive promotional emails from us and would rather not, just let us know—we’ll remove you from the list.

Shipping & Delivery

Australia & New Zealand

  • Orders are shipped via Australia Post within 3 business days, but we usually ship next business day.
  • You’ll receive a tracking number by email once your order is shipped. If you don’t see it, check your junk folder—sometimes we end up there!

International Shipping

  • We ship worldwide!
  • Shipping rates:
    • New Zealand – $14 AUD per order
    • Rest of the world – $25 AUD per order
  • All international orders are tracked, and import duties/taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.

Plum Tack Exchange Policy

What if my new jods don’t fit?

No worries! We’re happy to help you exchange for a better size.

How to Exchange:

  1. Contact us first—you’ll need a return authorisation before sending anything back. This must be done within 30 days of receiving your item.
  2. Once you have your return authorisation, send the item back along with a note including:
    • Your contact details
    • The item and size you’d like in exchange
    • Your return authorisation number
  3. We’ll do our best to swap it for the correct size, but if we don’t have it in stock, we’ll work with you to find a great alternative.

Conditions for Exchange:

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in original condition, with tags remaining attached and in original packaging.
  • Items should be folded neatly before returning.
  • If an item is not clean (this includes pet hair), a $10 cleaning fee per item may apply, or we may be unable to process the exchange.

Shipping Costs for Exchanges:

Customers are responsible for the cost of returning items to us for an exchange.

For Australian and New Zealand customers, we’ll cover the postage to send your first exchange item back to you.

If you need more than one exchange from the same order, the postage cost for each additional exchange is:

Australia: $8.50
New Zealand: $12.50

For international customers, standard shipping rates apply when we send exchanged items back to you.

Return Policy

We get it—sometimes things don’t go as planned! Whether there's a fault with your item or you’ve simply changed your mind, we’ve got a return option for you.

Faulty Items

We stand by the quality of our gear. If you receive a faulty item, please contact us within 30 days of receiving your order. Depending on the fault, we may ask you to send the item back or simply provide photos—this is at our discretion.

We cannot offer a refund or replacement until we receive either the item or the requested photos. Refunds will be processed via your original payment method.

Change of Mind Returns

If your item doesn’t fit, the colour isn’t quite what you expected, or you just don’t love it as much as you thought—no worries!

  • We happily offer an exchange for a different size (because fit matters!).
  • Prefer a store credit? You’ll get the full purchase amount plus an extra 5% to use on something else.
  • If you’d rather a refund, we’ll process it via your original payment method.

To be eligible:

  • Contact us within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • Ship the item back within 7 days of organising your return.
  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, in original condition, and tags must remain attached.

A Note on Condition

For hygiene reasons and fairness to all customers, returned items must be clean. If your item is returned with pet hair, dirt, or makeup:

  • A $10 cleaning fee per item may apply.
  • If the item cannot be cleaned/restored, we will be unable to process your return.

Mobile Terms of Service

The Plum Tack mobile message service (the "Service") is operated by Plum Tack (“Plum Tack”, “we”, or “us”). Your use of the Service constitutes your agreement to these terms and conditions (“Mobile Terms”). We may modify or cancel the Service or any of its features without notice. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we may also modify these Mobile Terms at any time and your continued use of the Service following the effective date of any such changes shall constitute your acceptance of such changes.

By consenting to Plum Tack’s SMS/text messaging service, you agree to receive recurring SMS/text messages from and on behalf of Plum Tack through your wireless provider to the mobile number you provided, even if your mobile number is registered on any state or federal Do Not Call list. Text messages may be sent using an automatic telephone dialing system or other technology. Service-related messages may include updates, alerts, and information (e.g., order updates, account alerts, etc.). Promotional messages may include promotions, specials, and other marketing offers (e.g., cart reminders).

You understand that you do not have to sign up for this program in order to make any purchases, and your consent is not a condition of any purchase with Plum Tack. Your participation in this program is completely voluntary.

We do not charge for the Service, but you are responsible for all charges and fees associated with text messaging imposed by your wireless provider. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Check your mobile plan and contact your wireless provider for details. You are solely responsible for all charges related to SMS/text messages, including charges from your wireless provider.

You may opt-out of the Service at any time. Text the single keyword command STOP to Plum Tack or click the unsubscribe link (where available) in any text message to cancel. You'll receive a one-time opt-out confirmation text message. No further messages will be sent to your mobile device, unless initiated by you. If you have subscribed to other Plum Tack mobile message programs and wish to cancel, except where applicable law requires otherwise, you will need to opt out separately from those programs by following the instructions provided in their respective mobile terms.

We may change any short code or telephone number we use to operate the Service at any time and will notify you of these changes. You acknowledge that any messages, including any STOP or HELP requests, you send to a short code or telephone number we have changed may not be received and we will not be responsible for honouring requests made in such messages.

The wireless carriers supported by the Service are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. You agree to provide us with a valid mobile number. If you get a new mobile number, you will need to sign up for the program with your new number.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you agree that we will not be liable for failed, delayed, or misdirected delivery of any information sent through the Service, any errors in such information, and/or any action you may or may not take in reliance on the information or Service.
