I am a little disappointed as these pants are quite thin. They look like normal (less expensive) gym pants.

You’re right that they have that sleek gym pant look, but they’re made from technical fabric specifically developed for riding—designed to handle wear in the saddle, with extra durability and a cut that avoids seams in all the wrong places. That’s something regular gym tights usually won’t stand up to over time.
I know the feel can catch people off guard at first, especially if you've not ridden in riding tights before. But I think you'll find they prove themselves once you’ve spent a bit more time riding in them.

Love the fit - thank you for the size suggestion you were spot on. However, due to my post menopause shape if the waist band was a couple of cm higher it would be perfect. I was dubious about getting the boot leg as I usually wear chaps to prevent pinching of my calves but I haven’t had any pinching with these Jodhs. Also love the pockets as now I don’t have to find a hiding place for my keys or leave my phone behind. I’ m so glad I complemented another lady on hers and asked where she got them.

And yes, that waistband feedback is so valid, one height does not suit us all. We’ve actually just released a new high-rise version with a comfort waistband that might be exactly what you’re after, so if you ever decide to add another pair, it’s worth a look.
